Hey!
My name is Mikayla and I am a cofounder of the new version of SkyWatch. We did this project as a family, with my Dad helping me learn the code, and my siblings helping with the digital design of the project. Our family has always had a passion for stargazing, and we wanted to take our skills to wearable devices. We hope you enjoy using SkyWatch!
Mikayla's Story
I'm currently a Junior at Arizona State University studying Computer Science and Software Engineering. I am also in a sorority here at ASU, Kappa Alpha Theta, the Honors College, and various other engineering clubs and activities. I currently work as an Intern at Intel Corporation here in Chandler, AZ. I have a passion for programming and software development thanks to my dad who worked with me on this project. He also coauthored SkyView, a popular stargazing app, and inspired me to continue this passion for software development and stargazing.
